    You can open demand deposit account with Aib in branch which can be accessed online and you can then open any online accounts. I did this recently and found process very efficient , only 10 mins in branch. Don’t need current account.

    There is expectation that ECB will take further measures in December to create inflation in eurozone. Outlook for interest rates in Europe is for further decrease. The best short term rate is Rabo 90 day deposit. I can see this dropping significantly in the new year.
