KBC tracker to fixed - horrendous rate.

Does this mean that people who would look to trade up in new year are in limbo in terms of getting a new mortgage/moving mortgage for a few months ? Or will KBC extend offering mortgages until then ?

Be careful about Finance Ireland's "Bring your fixed rate with you"

Thanks Brendan To move that tracker to new home when trading up will incur a 1% add on ... so a 2.1% tracker isnt as appealing with a few rate rises coming .

Key Post Switch or re-fix my mortgage? Breakage fee calculator and savings estimates for your case (Ireland)

Hi Guys , love this thread , hope I can get a steer not quite in same boat ……… Currently on KBC Variable , want to Fix for 5-7 years as we could be looking at prolonged period of higher rates , but also plan to trade up in that period and take the remainder over at that rate, so breaking fees...

Avant Money overpayments and early break fees now much more flexible

So if you were deciding between fixing for 5 and 7 years there isnt much difference ? 1. Breakage fee is roughly the same , albeit 2% of reducing balance is cheaper the later you go 2. If you traded up with them would they let you take the outstanding balance over at the 2.05% , and then...

We still exist in some shape or form at least . Not sure about that figure of 27, there must be 270 KBC customers in queue for ombudsman alone at the moment …never mind the courts https://www.irishexaminer.com/business/economy/arid-40757040.html

KBC KBC - infamous flyer timeline

There weren't that many KBC unresolved cases left over from CB Enquiry, 400 odd if i remember correctly . Not sure how many have made complaints to the Ombudsman outside of that number, so they could easily prioritize them and get them finished if they wanted . Any threads on what happened to...
