PTSB PTSB - on expiry of fixed rate, tracker rate not specified

I see where you are coming from Wardy7, but I don't think PTSB will allow that. Their admitted fault is that they didn't inform people they lost their right to a tracker when switching to variable, that's why they are calculating it from end of the initial fixed rate term. It was our decision to...

PTSB ptsb withdraws appeal to Supreme Court on trackers; CBI taking enforcement action

Yes i submitted my complaint after 5th Feb. I think they are keeping people posted who submitted complaints after 5th Feb 2015, and not to those who have had an ongoing case for years. Weird.

PTSB ptsb withdraws appeal to Supreme Court on trackers; CBI taking enforcement action

No, I didn't lodge anything with the FSO. I just sent a complaint letter to PTSB about a month ago, they had already replied saying they are looking into it and will respond within 3months, but now I get another letter saying they are still investigating.

Thanks Brendan, Could you advise us please on how detailed our complaint letter should be, and what are our grievance actually is? Should it just be a short letter explaining that we were not advised that coming out of the fixed term early would result in the loss of our tracker? Appreciate your...

"I want to make a complaint but it's over 6 years since I lost my tracker!"

Appreciate the advise Brendan. Im looking at it two different ways. A) If my complaint is that they never informed me that i was forfeiting my rights to a tracker then it relates to January 2009 (over 6years). B) If my complaint is that they never offered me a tracker, then it relates to May...
