Restored PTSB tracker, thinking of selling

Hi oakie2015 we also got our tracker restored 1.1% above ECB. We did not appeal. We have subsequently sold our house and moved to a different home for the same reasons as we had outgrown same. We kept our tracker mortgage with PTSB but they have a product called Portable Tracker which...

Hi Suz2015 my error this time not PTSB:D 950.00 was mortgage payment from our a different bank, forgot that our rate had dropped so I thought we got 3 payments when in fact the 950.00 was just our own money going in to pay mortgage. My figures are slightly different than the letter, I got...

    Anyone get the refund yet?

I got mine this morning, compensation and refund of overpayment, I phoned yesterday and they said it was processed on their system Tuesday. I received three payments from them, one is in the sum of €950.00 - not sure what that is about. Anybody else receive it in three payments rather than two?

    Anyone get the refund yet?

Defo right line, the guy I spoke with was fine, they received my forms and told me all that about the 7 working days and that it was to issue this week but because mortgage payment was being taken out during this time i.e. 19th it cannot do two requests at once, must be four days clear - there's...

I just phoned PTSB as I have not received our refund or compensation. I posted this on the 7th August. Confused as ever with this bank, spoke with somebody who confirmed that only one thing can be processed at a time with mortgage accounts and because our mortgage came out on the 19th August no...

Case study Account Adjustment figures don't add up

Aam user im confused by prepayment what is that? Ur amount of repayment is reduced because after u sent back ur form and they reduced the sum of ur mortgage that in turn then reduces your monthly payment as the balance outstanding on your mortgage is a couple of thousand less.

PTSB Overcharged couple reject PTSB’s ‘derisory’ compensation offer

Your not returning a letter sarenco its two forms of instruction, one for refund to be paid to bank of choice and one to either stay with variable or chose tracker, maybe im wrong but they appear fairly clear and simple!

PTSB - why did you break your fixed rate?

Hi bronte. I phoned our branch in jan 2009 to see how much penalty it would be to break fixed, we were 5% fixed. Was told there was no penalty we were just to send in a FAX stating we wanted to go on variable rate which we did because at the time my husband was not working. We were not given any...

The amount of compensation is a disgrace!

Point taken diver i havnt read peteb's previous posts but i will do so. My point was not about compensation, i am well aware that is not the norm with banks but i have been fighting this long and hard and thats the point im making, it has not been easy!
