Hi, I bought my first house in 2004. I received TRS on the mortgage until I bought my second house in 2008. The second house is my primary residence and I rent out the first house. Am I entitled to TRS anymore? I haven't received it since 2008 Thanks.

I was in Chicago before for Thanksgiving, and while there was a parade on early, there was nothing to do once that finished. We could only find one restaurant/pub open and that was after a couple of hours of wandering around the streets. All shops were closed aswell.

There is no need to go back as far as Naas, cut across the mountains to Brittas. I used to do this route myself and it took 45 mins. Red Cow roundabout is a lot better than it used to be aswell, so it should take you about 45 mins on the main roads too, or you could exit at the Kingswood...

I have the same mortgage. Where did you hear that you need to write to them? I didn't receive any notification of that.

You should probably get plans drawn up if it is a lot of work . At least you know then that all the builders you get to quote are quoting for the same thing, so they can't hit you for 'extras' further down the line. You could get plans drawn up for about 2k.

I have one that I bought new 2 years ago and am very happy with it. Have had no problems. It is very economical aswell. I drove from Killarney to Dublin a few weeks ago and got 63.5 mpg average.

I'd go for the new one aswell, especially with a 5 year warranty. But do you really need a ride on for only 1/4 acre?

Your builder would be the best person to ask about this. Bear in mind that buildings look an awful lot smaller from foundations and 16 x 16 is a reasonably big room.
