Delivery to home while out and not complete, supplier does not care what to do.

Peemac, in respect to "wood pellet's" the best is Balcas, i.e they are produced in N.Ireland, thus if I purchase in republic (which I can) I am merely paying a middle man to say I've bought off an Irish supplier. I did not fully go into the specifics but let alone where the pellets missing 21...

Delivery to home while out and not complete, supplier does not care what to do.

Hi Elcato, No the pallet was "sound" i.e the wrapping was sound on it and it was dropped to the rear of my house only being there 1 hour max. So only conclusion was incorrect amount palletised or was split during carriage, which I doubt as have had alot of deliveries from this co. with no issues.

Please suggest whether I will get mortgage

John, If you PM me I could send on the details of a man to talk too. The other posters are both correct but if as so-crates said you increase your savings on a regular basis I think by year end you could be in good shape, plus this time will give you room to think through the exact house you want.

    110k student debt

I don't for one minute pretend to know the OP's living expenses, but I do know that higher education past a diploma/degree get's expensive. For example I'm looking at 2 year P/T masters and it's 20 grand. My point is the health system goes on recruitment drives all over the world yet we "grow"...

Vendors solicitors have not contacted our solicitors

Just pick up the phone and give the vendor's estate agent a quick call asking for an "update" on how things are progressing. It could be a number of things like the vendor sorting out there banks agreement or just waiting on deed's etc. Don't procrastinate about it as it will just eat you up!

In the current climate, is a self-build (potentially) instant negative equity?

Don't rule a self build out just yet. In regard to existing features if you want to keep them prove your point. Show presidents in the area with the same and how it would be more in keeping with a rural area than a new construction wall etc. If you have an architect get them to do a visual of...

In the current climate, is a self-build (potentially) instant negative equity?

Hi Belton, By what you are saying it seem's that you intend to build in a rural area? If so I'd tread carefully. I too am from a rural area (Hundred miles past nowhere in Kerry) but made the decision to build in Killarney town as: A) there is close by services B) Schools C) Transport links and...
