I know the maths. Prize Bonds are a complete waste of time (and money). The Prize Bonds thread on www.boards.ie is evidence of this.
Plenty of PB fanboys here tonight.
Can anyone still using Sat4free tell me how good this service is or recommend any decent alternatives? There's very little onfo on the Power City website. Any opinions on this? [broken link removed] Dish and receiver for €80.95 thanks..
Yep, they were the ones I was looking at. I had a fixed term account at Anglo which recently expired so I'll probably move my funds to the Premium Demand account.
Hi, just wondering can you withdraw from this account at any time without losing any interest accrued on your account? Rate is currently 3.1% (and ECB +0.5%).
You're definitely better sticking with your local butcher. I've found that the quality of meat at Aldi/Lidl is not great. A couple of times I've bought their mince and pork chops and they smelt a bit off when I was cooking them (even though they were well within their expiry date) .
I'd say there's been a mass exodus from RaboDirect in the last few months with their very low rates. I'll be pulling out next week to, still deciding what's the best alternative.
Re: New Investec 6 month Term Deposit Rate - 5.50%
this definitely looking more interesting now, especially sine Rabo, Halifax etc have dropped their rates. Think I'll sign up this week.
ah ****e, that's no good. I was planning to stick some funds in that Flexi Saver account. It must've just changed to 4% this morning. Last night it was at 5.15%. :(
who said anything about 51.5%? ;) yeah I think I'll go for their Flexi saver account. already have a monthly saver and a current account with Halifax and I've no complaints so far.
OK, I've missed out on the 5.6% fixed term rate but I think I'll stick a few quid into their FlexiSaver account (5.15% AER).
any opinions on the Flexisaver account?
time for me to pull out of Rabo too. most likely I'll put some funds into the Halifax Flexi Saver.
any comments on this Halifax offer would be much appreciated...
that's what I'd like to know too. most of my funds are still in Rabodirect and I'm looking to diversify a bit more as soon as possible. I already have a decent sized sum locked into a Anglo fixed term account.
