    KBC KBC Announcement Feb 2019

Hi all, At their results today, KBC have announced the following: "As part of the ongoing tracker mortgage examination, KBC has notified the Central Bank of an additional 661 impacted customers" Does anyone know what cohort of mortgages this relates to? Have they changed the timeline of...

KBC KBC - redress amounts confirmed?

Hi, my mortgage isn't complicated and I still have no received anything. I contacted them during the week and they said it is slow because it is a case by case basis and all amounts are different.

KBC KBC basing cohorts on Application date rather than Draw-down dates

But as highlighted before, which is a good point, it doesn't state what the tracker details will in terms of % etc.

KBC KBC basing cohorts on Application date rather than Draw-down dates

Hi Brendan, I have a signed letter from a broker stating that a tracker rate will be available if they decide to fix from the drawdown. This is before the flier dates.

KBC KBC basing cohorts on Application date rather than Draw-down dates

Yes this could be the case - however going through the transcript of the meeting at the OC yesterday I noted some important comments: Wim (CEO) said - "We welcome evidence from people who have information specific to their case" and then was asked: "If broker tells you that you are going to...

KBC KBC basing cohorts on Application date rather than Draw-down dates

I am looking at a case for my friends who fixed at drawdown around May/June 06. This is obviously outside the dates mentioned that are affected by the flier. They have been told they are also not impacted. However they have a letter from their broker (called a Reasons Why Mortgage Letter)...

KBC KBC returned my tracker, after taking it from me as a condition for restructuring back in 2009

I also spoke to KBC today and they also confirmed that my tracker will be restored in March also. Can't believe it - I have waited 8 years for that phonecall :) Also thanks to everyone involved.

KBC KBC giving me back my tracker!

Hi - No I'm not frustrated at all and as I said above nothing shocks about this. I have been dealing with KBC since 2009 on this and was the first to create a KBC forum on here. I have also dealt with PK for years. It's just people are saying they are been told specific dates and the vital...

KBC KBC giving me back my tracker!

Yes I agree that the deemed impacted letter have gone out but as we know this letter was not very specific. It is not specific for the reasons we know as it does not commit KBC to anything. However some people on the threads are saying they are getting confirmation by phone and email of exact...

What to expect as compensation from KBC

They are not at that stage yet. You will need to wait until March I assume.

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Yes I totally agree. People will simply have to wait. If you have received a letter saying you part of the review and are impacted then you have to just simply wait. But if you have been told you are not part of this review then I would start getting stuff together for a case against them...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

I also have advice to everyone on this thread who are now looking for answers after receiving the letter like myself. Some of you didn't seem to know about your mortgage been impacted and I understand probably want answers right now. Unfortunately @peemac is correct and you have to simply WAIT...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

I received a letter as well yesterday. It is an absolute disgrace with the IF ANY comment and they have also clearly left it open that the March and June will not be met. They even have the nerve to say contact them if you haven't received anything. Like @Lightening I have been fighting this...

    KBC KBC update December

Yes that's what I was told as well. They should specify that this helpline is for people who have received letters following the advice from the experts looking after it (ie Deloitte and probably a handful of other KBC staff). The 4/5 people I have spoke to over the last few month know...

    KBC KBC update December

Well didn't they start removing the tracker rate as a product in 2008. I have idea what date but they can't be that stupid to be so specific on dates. This was probably agreed with already by the central bank before releasing the statement. You need to contact them, most likely through the...

    KBC KBC update December

Well it says: "These related to new mortgage applications in the period November 2006 to February 2008" I assume February '08 was the time they started to remove tracker mortgages so maybe you need to ring or email them to find out - the number and email address are in the link above.

    KBC KBC update December

Bit concerned about the reference date of November 06 - my friends I have looked at drew down in June 06 but their broker was certainly offering them a fixed that roles to tracker if they wish. We have that in writing. It might been an appeal for them.
