Hi Brendan, appeals panel doubled our initial compensation (e.g. paid us same amount again due to numerous impacting issues over the years). We never fell behind in mortgage payments but sacrificed in nearly every other area. many thanks, Paul

Hi Brendan, yes they did. Once they received our appeal they cherry picked parts of content and attempted to justify. EBS final position was zero extra compensation. Most of their justifications were just pure obstruction tactics. best wishes, BW

Just rang EBS help desk. There will be nother letter in next 3 months with a breakdown of numbers What I could gleam off them now is 615 euro is Legal Fees (park this to one side) ballpark 80% of what I then received is over-payment Remaining 20% is a mix of both compensation & Time value...

I am just amazed by how much EBS would have gotten away with if not for folk like Padraic Kissane driving this to satisfactory resolution and turning on the lights for all of us. What i would suggest is for anyone (not on his books) who got their EBS tracker back + compensation + Legal advice...

Hi all, Also contacted help desk, I was told letters possibly were not yet posted (once posted a scan appears on the system) as the scan was not yet there he could not be certain and to call back Wednesday. I told him what I thought of EBS. Many thanks, BW

also rang helpline just now. verbal confirmation that letters going out today, we should we receive Friday / latest Monday. Helpline refused to email me a copy or for me to pick it up in person. Said I could make a compliant if I wanted. Many thanks, BW
