Life Life Policy - the basics

HuskerDu, that's the million dollar question, I don't know, hence my post :) Thanks PadKiss that is useful. The Bank wrote telling me I need 'Life Cover' so does that mean I can buy either Life Assurance or Mortgage Protection? Or must it be Life Assurance? Now I think of it Chilll.ie said...

Life Life Policy - the basics

I am reading up on threads here - my reason for posting is I literally know nothing about Life Policy and what it entails. I'm buying a house and so this has cropped up. I have been googling stuff, and got a quote via Chill.ie brokers for cover for 18pm for 26yrs. With serious illness...

    Kilmore, off Monkstown Grove

Does anyone know the development? Is the location really that bad? I'm really familiar with Monkstown but not 'down this road'. It changes a bit dramatically from the rest of Monkstown. Anyone have any experiences? Thanks in advance

So many charities but which one to contribute to?

It's really generous of you to consider donating to a charity - there's so many and to my mind the motivator for where you put your money should be the charity who's work resonates most with you. What are you interested in? What are you mad about, or frustrated or upset by? Asides from giving a...

"there's an offer of xxx..." is there a truth obligation

Thank you for the replies. I was curious if they were under obligation, as is job advertising etc, for legitimate jobs.. so OK I like that advice of saying "sure if the offer of 210 falls through come back to me, I'll make one of 190". Believe me this is being done with the head screwed...

"there's an offer of xxx..." is there a truth obligation

Consider me a total novice here, trying to buy a house on my own - struggling a bit, my question is, in the circumstances of EA stating "there's an offer on the table of XXX" are they obliged to have a true offer, or can this be unsubstantiated porky pies? I never know if it's just to say...

BOI Visa Dr card - 2 weeks without card to get it??

I'm in the same boat. Lost laser card 3 wks ago today - I rang BOI and informed them, they said no problem in fact they would issue me a debit card instead as they're moving people off laser, charge me €6 and it would take between 6 - 8 working days. I'm now using my VISA card the past 3 weeks...

    Beech Hill, Donnybrook

Hi, is anyone living in the Beech Hill estate or have knowledge of it? Is it quiet? It looks very nice. There's blocks of flats to the front that look clean and well maintained, plus the Dublin Bus garage. Is there any issue with either? Thanks you in advance.
