@katnia Did they reduce your mortgage balance by 17k when they changed your interest rate last week or do you need to sign for that.

@Wardy7 Did you have TRS on that loan that had influence over the refund or does it tell you? Do they say the compensation figure is a certain percentage of your refund amount?

On their website it states we can take what they are offering without affecting our right to appeal or appeal through legal means. That is what I will do. At this stage I need my money back but I am not afraid to continue on the road to get the compensation we deserve.

Fuzzy I have had no communication either but rate has changed. You are fixed so it might be a bit different for you as in you might have to sign it before they change it. If it is proved they made up the glitch story there should be criminal charges.

Totally understand but from my point of view the compensation is not going to be €200,000 which is what I will save with tracker re-instated. I have spent 4 years being angry about it but no more, its all on the way and I wish all of you the best with this.

Receiving the proposal would be a start! Though judging from all the information the only issue I can see will be if you did not have the tracker rate specified in the contract.

I do not think it can go from the letters being ready to send to waiting "a long time" - Have faith, we will have our letters by the end of June.
