Hi Laneyba. I know loads of single mothers who still live with there parents and get the Lone Parents Payment. However if you move in with your partner or he moves in with you and your parents you won't be entitled to it... maybe in that case you could apply for job seekers allowance..

Just to let you know all medical care for pregnant women is free including prenatal check ups, delivery, hospital stay and postnatal check ups (working or not) up untill the baby is 6 weeks old.

I know its frustrating, I was waiting about 9 months to get my money (bout 3 years ago things took alot longer) but at least it gets back dated and I got a nice lump sum in the end. Just think of it as savings :)
