"more than 200 restaurants and cafes have shut this year"

They're certainly sufficiently visible to be on both local authorities' and Revenue radar.

"more than 200 restaurants and cafes have shut this year"

From what I can see, pop-up takeaway coffee outlets with minimal facilities and overheads are booming. But many cafes are being hit by a combination of higher costs and, as @Sue Ellen mentions, consumers shifting towards self-prepared lunches as a response to inflation.

    Right to vote at AGM

The Memorandum and Articles of Association should have been updated and rebranded to a Company Constitution after the 2014 Companies Act belatedly took effect some years back. You can buy a copy on core.cro.ie for €2.50 and it'll be in your inbox within a few minutes.

    Close company surcharge

Highly unlikely. Besides if the OP lives say another 25 years, annual compliance costs will decimate the value held within the company. And if things go awry and the company gets struck off, the entire value could be lost.

    Close company surcharge

You keep saying this Brendan. But no tax advisor will provide such a plan, except possibly at vast cost, to cover the inherent risk whenever the customer fails to follow through on their recommendations, tax rules or wider circumstances change, or something else gets lost in the mist.

    Non-Resident Landlord Withholding Tax reforms

They'll only audit you if they consider there's a significant undischarged tax liability associated with your disposal. If they have any concerns about your CGT return, a non-audit intervention is vastly more likely.

    Non-Resident Landlord Withholding Tax reforms

Sounds like your solicitor messed up, left themselves wide open to liability to Revenue for your tax bill had you not paid it, and probably broke the law too.

    Non-Resident Landlord Withholding Tax reforms

Sorry I haven't the first clue of whatever point you're wishing to make here. When did you sell the property? Are you non-resident? Did your solicitor not retain the proceeds until you were issued with a Letter of No Audit?

That's an entirely different issue to what's on his payslip.

    Close company surcharge

You probably need a engage a professional advisor because otherwise you're at high risk of a making a big mess on foot of a basic misconception.

Pay date on payslip different to date of actual pay

What difference does it make to you? (FWIW, the payment date isn't necessarily the date when the funds hit your bank account, as this is not wholly within your employer's control.)

    Names on company bank account

In a lifetime spent as a member and sometimes officer of countless clubs and voluntary organisations and in my career, I've never seen this done, and I can only assume for very good reason.

    Handling an uncle's probate

Why did you seek three different valuations? It sounds to me almost akin to getting diagnoses of a patient's state of health from three separate doctors - a recipe for confusion.
