Citywest: How would the Luas affect our house price?

It's going ahead as it's largely funded by Hickey and Mansfield. The Luas A1 railway order has already been granted. If you drive along the new Outer Ring Road extension (between the N7 and the N81), you can already see that indentations for the Luas tracks (where it will cross the road) have...

    Finglas

Rented for 2 years just off the ratoath road (close to dunsink) in a little private estate and I have to say I had no trouble whatsover. Neighbours were fine on the whole. Walked home at night, went to the chipper etc. No problems, not even cheek of any of the lads hanging around. My personal...

[broken link removed] (Inchicore the area within the black border AFAIK). The roads you mention are Inchicore, not Kilmainham. Inchicore ends at Suir Road. They are both Dublin 8 BTW

    Monasterevin

Hi . I live in Saggart village. Be warned that the traffic on the Mill road (from saggart village to the N81 can sometimes be backed right up. It has sometimes taken me upwards of 10-20 mins to get on to the N81 from there. The other route to tallaght - through saggart village through...

Browns Barn Wood Dublin - near the Kingswood turn on the Naas Road.

I think this comes up cos (AFAIK) 'Citywest' is actually Saggart. I think they just started referirng to the area as such after the hotel and industrial estate were built.

    Affordable housing unfairness

No problem in the slightest. I worried about getting my my own house and whatever other people do to get theirs is not my business. As long as they are not horrible neighbours, more power to them.

Sounds obvious but where would you working? My partner has a house on the limerick road and its lovely there. Only about 35 mins to Limerick /15 mins to Shannon from that side of town. The prices are rising but nowhere near as bad as dublin. I think my partners 4 bed is valued at around 250K now.

Re: Key Post: helpful links for a clean pc sounds stupid but have you defragged your drive(s).? Also give your caches/temp folders a good cleanout. CCleaner (listed on this topic) and CleanCache are handy tools for doing this.

Story wiggles, bit late to reply but hope you see this... I'm living in Saggart village and have only got broadband last week. Lucan vs. Swords

Re: lucan v's swords Hi, I lived in swords for 2 years til recently so in my view: Pros: Near the sea, handy for the airport, Pavillions shopping centre, Swords is a pretty village, near malahide and portmarnock in the summer. Extremely painful drive on the M50 if you work anywhere beyond the...
