I called in to Boots Blackrock today. My prescription for Cholesterol lowering tablets was priced at €11. 85 in Boots. While waiting for my prescription to be filled I strolled to Pure Pharmacy to see how much they would charge. For the same product, amount etc. they were charging €4....a...
I like to drop a few hundred cash here and there for birthdays, holidays, Christmas, grand kids school fees........even though I have one who complains that he hasn't used cash in years.
It was a brand new card, never used. Brought it with me to France. I contacted the Ulster Bank and they suggested that this is what happened. They could offer no other explanation.
Not sure that I have any relationship with Boots. Both myself and my wife have been using their Blackrock, Dublin outlet for some time now. The staff are constantly changing and they never seem to know much about anything when we visit.
I will try Pure Pharmacy that is beside Boots when I next...
I recently started on cholesterol lowering tablets. My doctor emailed my prescription to Boots Pharmacy in Blackrock.
I have been getting a one months supply at a time.
I must ask Boots for a six month supply next time, but in the back of my head I think that they will charge 6 x dispensing...
I still get the paper forms and take my time filling them in. Then I drop them in to my local tax office post box. I get my PAYE Balancing Statement within two weeks. (now called something else).
I know. I know.....but it's the way I like to do it.
Lots of posts on the Ryanair Facebook from people not able to log in or do anything on their site.
I have also been trying to book a flight and nothing is happening.
Nothing from Ryanair about this?
From the Consumers Association of Ireland.
Does the price have to be displayed in euro?
Under EU legislation, the price of products on sale in Ireland must be displayed clearly in euro. The product may also be marked with the price in other currencies – for example, sterling – and there is no...
The book was only priced in Sterling. There was no Euro price on it. I only found out the Euro price when they asked me for payment. The book should have been priced in Euro only, this is Ireland not the U.K.
I purchased a book in Dubray Books Blackrock today that cost £12.99 GBP. At the till I was charged €18.15 for the book.
That is a rate of circa .71 when today's rate is .85.
I reckon I was overcharged by about €3 for the book.
How can they justify an exchange rate of this magnitude?
So far I have not been tempted by any of their Cyber sale offerings. The flights that I am tracking for 2024 haven't really changed. One outward flight was reduced in price by €5 but the inward flight price was increased by €5. (seven days later). I suppose if I wasn't returning after seven...
Second day of sale.
I can't tell any difference between yesterday's sale and today's sale. Nothing seems to have changed. It also seems as if the offering is the same as before the sale.
Anyone notice anything?
