Yes that is correct. When it is a bank holiday / public holiday you will be down 1 days jobseekers. SW say that you can get your employer to write to them stating that you did not get paid for that day and then you will get that days amount back from SW. That is what I was told by them. HTH

On the plus side, a good vet will scan a dog. So perhaps if it did get lost at some stage there is the potential for the dog to turn up. Esp as you can specify on fido that it is stolen and when it is scanned this will show up on the scanner.

Pixie, also bear in mind that your dog cannot get out but other dogs and people can get it. Also, if they do jump/run over the fence, a lot of the time they are too scared to come back in and will now be stuck on the other side. Just something to bear in mind.

Yes a friend of mine used this on their dog. It worked quite well as they had no fence/gates etc. The dog can now be trained on just the flags that came with it without the radio fence being even down. Be prepared for training though as they will try to have a nudge at it ever so often just...
