    "I have been receiving benefit under a Permanent Health Insurance Policy provided by the employer" I am not sure you can be made redundant. And it may not be in your best interest but definitely in your employers interest. You should check this carefully with the terms of your PHI Policy

    If going with a flat roof make sure there is an adequate slope on it to remove water test this when they put the screed down and before they fix the membrane. Make sure there is no ponding, sitting water etc. Make sure drainage points can take excess water. Not just normal rain
