There is mildew on both sides of roller blind (3 years old) in bedroon even though it only reaches about an inch above window sill when pulled down. Blind on window in next room facing same direction but no mildew on that. Windows are aluminium and double glazed albeit about 30 years old ...

I have a pump for the firebird back boiler that was renewed 2 years ago. It has not been used for nearly a year and a half. Is there a chance that the pump could be seized up because fire has not been lit in that time or is there a way it can be checked without lighting the fire?
