The cabinet serving my house is about 3 km from the Exchange and my house was another 3 km further on so that much copper wire was taken from my line . Because of upgrades I now have FTTH . So 6 km of fiber and no copper at all in my case. I went from almost 1 mg to super fast..

The wiring in the Exchanges as well as from the cabinet to the premises is different for non broadband customers to that of broadband customers.

There are many who do not have broadband, I would think, so they will have the ' older ' type telephone so unless they can look after those people, I can't see the Exchanges closing any time soon.. As well as that the wiring for customers who do not have broadband is different to those who do...

What will your house phone be changed over to ?

Joe was a decent manager and seemingly a very nice guy.

The problem is that most of the time our other National airline are way too expensive.....that is my reason for using them. Touch wood I haven't had any problems with Ryanair.,.....so far.

Until I experience problems with Ryanair I will continue to use them. Anyway when you sit into your seat it might as well be any airline.. well almost any..
