DCC SO has asked me if I wish to switch to a 100% mortgage?

Hi Brendan, I have already sent mine back also. It was literally a little note of paper the size of a postcard saying something along the lines of 'interested in transferring your shared ownership property to 100% mortgage' and on the back was a space for name, address, phone number and email...

DCC SO has asked me if I wish to switch to a 100% mortgage?

Hi Sinbad, Afraid I can't answer your question but it too got the same letter on Friday about transferring to 100% so I'm wondering have they sent it to all people on Shared Ownership. I bought my house in 2009. I wonder is there a reason they are sending these out now?

Trying to change our spending habits- advice needed

A typical take away is generally about €15. We tend to usually make dinner etc but then later on in the evening fly down and get a bag of chips or a tray of chicken wings etc. it's not too expensive but it does add up. I just realised that the house and car insurance are only paid 10 times a...

Trying to change our spending habits- advice needed

Yes I have food so really this money is for extras and for maybe bread and milk and the likes. During the week is when I, lazily, tend to opt for a take away instead of cooking from scratch. Fingers crossed!

Trying to change our spending habits- advice needed

The store credit is for furniture that I bought through a HP type agreement. It was spread over three years at 0%. I pay €58 per month to this by direct debit. I suppose the credit card is the next killer really. I had planned on paying the money that I'm currently paying to the payday loan off...

Slightly related question here. Took out a SO mortgage a few years ago. Since then I have married and we both live in the SO home as our own, although house is technically in my name only. What would happen if either me self or my partner were to die? Would the mortgage protection just pay off...

Shared ownership and mortgage interest relief

Hi Mandelbrot, Yes, it was Tax relief on the mortgage that I meant. Sorry, im not very au-fait with the termonology. By the sounds of what ou are saying so I would automatically be receiving it as it's deducted at source? Also is it still the case that it is only applicable for the first 7...
