Healthcare costs - not insurance How much has the shingles vaccine cost you?

I got the Shingrex vaccine last year. I paid about €400 for the double dose in Lloyds. I checked with the Chemist Warehouse and it was about the same price. It wasn’t covered under the drugs repayment scheme. The following gives a good explanation of both vaccines...

I don’t think that’s the reason, EU pharmaceutical law applies to Northern Ireland since Brexit and prior to that applied to all Uk.

"43,000 landlords exiting the market..." but how many are buying in?

Of course only 1 census per household should be completed. But someone occupying a self contained unit under the rent a room scheme should really complete a separate census as they are not part of the main household as defined by CSO. But I agree that while the rent a room scheme has expanded...

    Landlord incentives

Pearse Doherty “We needed a budget for renters, instead, we got a budget for landlords.” I bet he had that statement prepared earlier. In 2024 the “budget for landlords” who commit to stay is worth €11.50 per week Laughable as an incentive.

"43,000 landlords exiting the market..." but how many are buying in?

In fact they would receive a separate form. When the enumerator is delivering the forms a separate form can be delivered to all in the dwelling who do not consider themselves to be part of the household as defined by CSO.

"43,000 landlords exiting the market..." but how many are buying in?

There was no question in the census capturing rent a room tenants. A form is completed for each private household and the CSO definition of same “A private household comprises either one person living alone or a group of people (not necessarily related) living at the same address with common...

Has anyone been refused boarding on a flight they had been checked in for due to overbooking?

I was on a Ryanair flight on which a “lower capacity” plane was used. The passengers who had booked the final row of seats, think it was row 30, found the final row was already occupied. The passengers in situ had the correct seat numbers (29). Luckily the flight wasn’t full and they were...

Is it ever a good idea to leave the family home equally between the children?

Did Frank Brennan have anything to say about agriculture relief, business relief, gifting a site etc? Unlike the other reliefs, dwelling house relief, once the conditions are met, is not restricted to a certain sector.
