Fraud Alert! Caller pretending to be from Visa Card asking to verify NZ transaction

re the dial tone, in an article I read on this it seems the scammers play a dial tone on the open line, so it seems that it is quite easy to get fooled by this

    Short term lets?

It may be expensive (but then a 6 month contract probably is anyway), but have you tried Air BnB? I have an apartment on there that I let occasionally, and have had quite a number of queries looking for medium term lettings (It's not something I can do, but some apartment owners may see this as...

Price quoted in €/cm2 on website rather than €/mm2. Can I insist they honour price?

Also, make sure you're not interpreting the measurements wrongly. 100 square centremetres is an area of 10cm x 10cm (100mm x 100mm)

    Interior/Graphic Design courses

I've studied there part time by night. It's two nights a week (tuesdays and thursdays) so only six hours a week. As such, there's an expectation that you put a lot of work in on your own time, and to be honest, a lot of the course depends on what you put into it. The part time courses cover the...

    US Immigration in Dublin

Correct, the EI139 does not clear immigration in Dublin. I've flown on it twice recently, and both times there was about 30-40 mins queuing time in Boston - both times I was pretty near the door and was one of the first from the flight to get there though. But it all depends on what other...

Whats the difference between a "preview" and a normal performance of play?

Critics paying into a performance??? Yeah, right! Critics (as in press) will not review a preview

Whats the difference between a "preview" and a normal performance of play?

I'd be very, very surprised if the preview didn't have the full 'opening night' cast. I have been to a load of previews and have never found this to be the case. It's a preview, not a tech rehearsal. It's not like Alan Rickman is just going to fly over on opening night to do his part.

    Fabric Shops Dublin

The place at the Ha'penny Bridge on the Northside. I think it's called the Woolen Mills, but I could be wrong. They have a fabric section upstairs. Also Hickeys on Henry St and in the Stephen's Green centre (is that one still there?)

Re: Buying a Nintendo Ds in the USA and games for both ds and Wii. Will they work her Not sure about the Wii games, but the nintendo DS games are not region locked so you'll be able to use games bought in the states on a console bought here.

Re: What are the fixed and variable costs incurred by cos to provide call/txt message Peak traffic times are during the day (especially on fixed line networks due to business calls), and there have always been different peak and off-peak rates (operators try to entice people to use the network...

What are the fixed and variable costs incurred by cos to provide call/txt message?

Re: What are the fixed and variable costs incurred by cos to provide call/txt message Any calls made from one operator to another (e.g. eircom to Vodafone) will incur interconnect charges. Eircom are charging their customer to make the call, but they have to hand over a portion of the revenue...

    Claiming TRS

I'm pretty sure she would only be able to claim TRS if the house were her PPR. This is not the case, so I don't see how you would be able to claim.

    TRS Query

Well there is insofar as you are both paying interest. If you are sharing a mortgage 50/50 and only one applicant claims TRS, I assume you'll only get it on half the interest paid. But yes, when you are both paying a combined interest of greater than €10,000 you will get more combined TRS that...
