The price of Diesel in the UK

It could be a tax issue but I suspect its a supply & demand thing. Much higher demand for diesel in the UK due to changes in company car policy a few years ago. Nearly all corporate fleet over there though would be diesel powered.

    wedding venue -free corkage

Not sure what you describe as "nice" hotel but the Ashdown Park in Gorey have a very good package for very good money. €45 & free corkage, that was a weekend wedding so might even be cheaper again mid-week?

    Prague in December

Was in Prague in January last year. Very cold but nice & dry. I used http://www.prague-airport-transfers.co.uk/ to get to & from the airport having read all the scare messages about taxi drivers. To be honest I think it is mostly scare tactics as so many people use taxis & I've yet to hear a...

Humming noise - mechanic reckons fuel pump

Can't access your link to the audi forums but humming noise, especially if it appears to be coming from the rear of the car would indicate fuel pump. What model Audi is it & year? Fuel pumps can be bought & installed by any mechanic, not too much to it. They're not ridiculous money either but...

    Dubrody House Hotel...Experiences?

Well its gonna be about €400 for a night in a suite there with champagne on arrival & full 3 course meal (which costs €65 per person usually) so I thought it was reasonable when compared to suites in other hotels in the area. Any suggestions for alternatives in that price range in Wexford...

    Golf clubs with Ryanair

Get yourself a travel bag to put your golf bag into. They're only about 40 or 50e & have wheels on the end so you pull them along with you, saves you carrying them through the airport. And will give your clubs/bag some extra protection. A word of warning though, weigh your golf bag before...

    Hotel in Rome

is your friend, I wouldn't book anywhere without reviewing on tripadvisor first. Stayed in Rome 3 years ago, stayed here http://www.marcellaroyalhotel.com/?gclid=CNWi0efPopgCFQ4i3godwn1yng and it was excellent. Recommended to a friend who went last year & she was delighted with the place too.

    Has anyone been to Malaysia?

17 years since I was in Malaysia, jeez where does the time go? It was still a very third world country then but from all accounts its completely different now. Get yourself on a 1/2 day bus tour, I'd recommend heading out to the batu caves for a nosey. The bus tour also gets you out of the...

    what is a lum?

ECU's control fuelling etc etc on modern cars so can't be bypassed. The only reason I asked was it water damaged is water could do that damage but very strange apart from that. Might be worth asking the mechanic to pick up the phone and ring Seat to get a quote, will only take a couple of...

    what is a lum?

Hiya Hizzy Would it be a loom & ECU you're looking for? ECU is the brain of the car, and the loom is what the electrical signals are sent by. Thats gonna be a main dealer part though & probably not going to be cheap, maybe too dear for a 00 Seat to make it worth your while. Was the car...
