Thanks for responses. Was having a meltdown last night as I was almost finished payment when it went past midnight and the whole thing stalled. Got it through eventually and called them today to explain and, while not exactly saying "tis grand" :) , they seemed ok about it.
Had hit a wall trying to get some expenses to take on Form 11 and resulted in trying to make payment not seeing it was one minute past midnight and now the card payment won't go through as the dates is staying at 15/11/23. Completely my own fault but is there anything I can do? Panicing here!
Can anyone recommend a company for servicing an older style solar panel system - tubes - Cork Area?
Sun is shining and no hot water as system needs draining, such as waste of seldom seen sunshine!
Thanks.
Ran into EBS on Friday morning to fix at the Green 3.1%, convinced they were going to tell me it was gone up but no, for now they're sticking at where they were prior to AIB's announcement!
Thanks RichinSpirit. That gave me the figure I had also come to when doing my sums and ideally where we want to be monthly on our mortgage repayments. Seems have to jump through multiple hoops to get there!
nephster, thanks for reply. Yes I had thought of this but the constant juggling of overpayments and having to deal with those who answer the phone in EBS is infuriating, had hoped to tidy it all up in one go but they are not playing ball as they have said "that's not how our system works"...
Thanks for this response Paul. Your 2 points above are exactly what we are trying to do however it seems the EBS are making us do it in 2 steps rather than 1. Frustratingly inefficient by them IMO! That said your outline gives me a bit more clarity on how to do it however despite telling EBS...
I'm getting so frustrated with my mortgage provider. Situation is this:
Our PPR has an outstanding balance of €270K, term to repay is 21yrs approx.
We wish to pay €125k off the amount outstanding as we have just come to the end of our fixed term. We also want to reduce the term from 21yrs to...
Were in the same boat last summer, although not with PTSB and were flat out refused interest only while selling rental property. They deemed our incomes not high enough to meet criteria without the income from the rental. Seemed bonkers really after paying both mortgages, PPR and Rental, for...
@dubdub123 Completely understand, it's infuriating and worrying being made jump through so many hoops and multiple rejections when applying for accommodations that are not giving an advantage but only going some way towards levelling the playing field. I wouldn't let any rejection of the DA put...
We have just gone sale agreed on an NPPR. My question relates to the calculation of CGT. I have all the figures worked out but am wondering about one thing. The property was bought off plans as part of an ongoing development in 2002. Mortgage was drawn down in stage payments from 2002 to 2003...
The Incapacitated Child Tax Credit is available in respect of a child who is:

over 18 years of age and unable to maintain themselves.

Looking for a recommendation for an electrician in Cork please. Something has blown the power in the house. Definitely internal problem somewhere that we can't figure out as nothing has tripped in the fuse box. TIA
Have some experience of this albeit 10 years ago but haven't heard any reason why it would be any different now. As said above you should see the credits for 2022 applied from Jan this year to your next pay and the balance of the credits applied over the coming months for the remainder of the...

Thanks for that @Buddyboy. We're not far from Carrigaline so imagine we're in his area.
Only work we've had done in recent years was tarmac on the drive but they created a soakway for the run off from there. Household size is average so can't imagine that's the problem either. Have walked...
