I rang up yesterday and was told I could set up a savings A/C over the phone but would have to be physically present for a current a/c. Today I was told the opposite. Anyone know what the story is?

Money is legit and coming from another Irish bank draft, just the way the rate is falling I wanted it in a sterling draft so wouldn't lose out waiting while they got the cash.

What do I need to do to buy a sterling bank draft here in euros? Just walk in and ask? Does it have to come from an account.

Is there a way you can set up a regular payment from a current account to a credit card, AIB said no and that I would only be able to pay it off manually through 24 hour banking. I think ulster let you do it with their own ccard. Any help appreciated.

Which ATMs can you deposit money in, in Dublin. I used to be able to do it at my aib branch atm but they have a new one and the option is no longer there.

Compensated, wishful thinking. They usually hold stuff as long as they want and a police property application is required to get them back - approx 300 quid, maybe more now. They just say they need them for evidence etc even if they don't and they will only listen to a solicitor not you.
