Would you consider hiring a caravan? Not as handy as campervan but alot more comfy than a tent.. especially with the weather we've been having. People often have caravans just sitting there and they might let you hire it..It would probably be handy to know someone with one as strangers would be...

I also work 35 hours. 9-5 Monday - Friday. I can do a bit extra if I wish at home but will take leave in lieu. I feel lazy now when I see the hours other people work. It takes me 5 mins to get to work. I don't know how long commuters do it and then work such long hours.
