    Terminating temporary contract

They haven't treated me badly as such, but I've worked hard while I've been there. I think however having an earlier start date with the new employer would be a significant advantage.

    Terminating temporary contract

I was given a temporary contract last April 2012 for a three month period. This had a 1 month notice period attached to it. Since the temporary contract ended in July 2012 I have still been in employment with the same company (although contract was not renewed/reviewed) but its just kind of...

7 week boiler out of action. What to do next?

Hi she sells. Will try and get terminology correct in future. Please note there are no owners in the development, they are all let. They may well be all different legal entities, however the contact for all issues be it maintenance, admin, payment etc all refer to the same contact office/number.

Hi All, I'm looking for some advice on what to do next. 7 weeks ago we reported to the management company that our shower/boiler was not working properly. The hot water only lasts about 3 minutes and then goes cold. We reported this but although persons have been to look/work on it, it...

Small Claims or accept 50% offer

Tow company have seen the photos and have dismissed them. We never took them with the idea that we'd need to use them in a court case so they are general photos of car on tow truck. Not the specific area that ended up damaged. The car is being traded in as seen, so garage aware of any scuffs to...

    Not enough Hard Drive Space

Thanks guys, much appreciated. They are both good tools for freeing up space. Even though 19GB is taken up with music I didn't realise how much space my iPhone Apps take up. Looks like I'll have to delete a few of them. Thanks.

Thanks for that I will certainly give that a go. All my media except iTunes is on an external hard drive. Would that take up so much space. I'm not mental about music but have some on it.

    Not enough Hard Drive Space

Hi Guys, I wander if anyone can help. I have a fairly old laptop only 100GB. I've only got 1.7GB left. I've removed all photo', documents, videos, mostly everything. I've tried to uninstall most programs. Done a disk clean, defraged etc. I have Itunes on the computer and this says I am...

    Anyone getting winter tyres?

Thanks Wicklow man. But once they have ripped they flap about hitting the underside/outside of your wheel arch. And potentially damaging your bodywork. My point is if they rip on the road, which is partly covered in snow, they will be impossible to take off when wet. Of course you could sit and...

Uk no claims bonus for Irish driving

Get a letter from your insurance agent stating the number of years no claims you have. Provide this to your new insurance company in the UK as evidence of no claims. It worked for me.

    Anyone getting winter tyres?

I got snow socks last year and they are great. Brilliant in fact. But they do need snow to work. When the road gets to that half snow half melted stage they will rip in about 10 miles. They aren't very durable and if they rip when your travelling at some speed (30mph or more) you'll hear a big...

    Why Ipad???

Go to: www.buyersguide.macrumors.com/#iPad According to this the iPad 2 is mid cycle so you should get a good year/year and a half before a new version comes out. Good website for checking where in the life cycle each apple product is.
