    Central Credit Register response times

At the beginning of February I submitted a credit request to the CCR. One month later I emailed asking why I did not receive a report. Today, two months later they responded saying the report was subsequently issued and to check my Junk/Spam folder. In summary, over a month to receive a...

ICB joint account report post bankruptcy

Hi, I was declared bankrupt almost 5 years ago. I recently wrote a GDPR letter to pTSB to have my name removed from a 2003 joint account which is still active and being paid. It shows on ICB as in arrears and they refused. The other account holder is still making payments and was not bankrupt...

    Any self employed Bankruptcies

Jim, I've followed your posts here for a long time and held you in the highest regard. However, you should reconsider advising your clients to set up this arrangement. The OA is wise to this and you may be setting up your clients for criminal prosecution (and possibly yourself)...

PRTB website doesn't seem to be working properly

I know this is an old post, but I have been having the same issue and hope it will help others. This part of Mobella's post is the solution. prtb's error message is misleading and does not tell you what the real problem is. Basically, I had not completed a previous update. When I did update...

    ICB Report Post-Bankruptcy

Hi all, I too have recently been discharged. I've set up a company and in just over a month I have clients waiting to pay over €20,000 to the company. Guess what! Due to "adverse data" on ICB, I can't get a business account, so have no way of receiving payment. I've only tried Ulster Bank so...

    Cerberus Capital Management Interest Rates

Thanks MrEarl, I'll check this tonight and will report back for the benefit of other readers. Even 1-2% would push us into arrears. And vulture funds being what they are concerns me. This is the case. Thanks again. I'd appreciate comments from others also.

    Cerberus Capital Management Interest Rates

Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong section. I searched Cerberus and only found one thread on it in here. 2 years ago, I restructured my family home mortgage with Danske into one performing variable rate loan and one warehoused loan. (about 50%/50%). I have not missed a payment since then. The...

How does ISI value the family home?

Interesting. Did they sell your property based on your valuation?

How does ISI value the family home?

Hi, Does anybody know how does the Insolvency Service of Ireland value the family home or any other property for that matter?

Keeping PPR House outside of Bankuptcy

Hi, I have recently been told that the ISI will consider keeping a home out of bankruptcy proceedings if it is in negataive equity and arrangements have been made with the bank for that particular mortgage. Has anybody heard of this actually happening? Thanks.

    External debt collection agency

Hi Boom2bust, I found your thread while seeking answers for my own situation. Similar amount to yours. I recently received a letter from Cabot followed up by an aggressive call to my mobile. Also, a few other threads mention whether Cabot own the debt or are acting on behalf of the bank. I...

3yr contract with RAS Scheme: can they pull out as they have no tenant?

This raises a very concerning sidenote. The owner is still responsible for buildings insurance. Insurance companies expect the properties to be occupied. And to be notified if not. Some will void the policy if it is long-term unoccupied.

    rental contracts

This one complies with the PRTB. [broken link removed] I suggest using the Fixed term and doesn't have to be for 12 months.

Massive rent increase in 1 year

This does seem quite high for flats. Do you actually mean apartments? Reasonably new, etc? Whereabouts is the property?

    Cheap car service in Dublin

Tonneman72, Manus the mechanic above is making a good point. You sound a bit biased towards main dealers. Do you work at a main dealership?
