Hi Ceist Beag, Thanks for the reply. A few questions for you: I'm a little fearful that there won't be enough heat out of the rads... ? Do they be warm all day long or how does that work? Does the heatpump supply all your domestic hot water as well? Is it hard on electricity? Do you have...

Does anyone have a heatpump heating radiators?

Hi All, A company has priced us for an Ecodan air to water heat pump working off low temperature radiators for our new build. I know that usually they say that one should use underfloor heating with heat pumps, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using radiators with this...

Kingspan or thermodynamic panels for hot water?

Thanks for your replies, It's good to hear from someone who's not selling and has experience of the thermodynamic panel. I still don't know if there is a reason why one might go for the kingspan panels if given the choice between the two types?? I was talking to a man (got his number - don't...

Kingspan or thermodynamic panels for hot water?

Hi All, Our BER assessor has put us down for Kingspan Thermomax solar tube panels for our new build. They are reportedly the best of their kind on the market and can produce up to 55% of our hot water needs spread over the whole year. Apparently they need servicing about every 2 years at a...

Thanks for the replies all, I've been investigating it a bit and as far as I can gather, he should have terms and conditions of employment but not neccessarily a signed contract. An employee is deemed to have a contract " whether the contract is express or implied and if express, whether it...

Neighbor Wants to Knock Boundary Wall. Is This A Problem If I WanT to Sell?

I agree with the above. Don't agree to this. Whatever hastle you think you might be avoiding will be more than made up for down the line if this goes ahead. You stick to your side of the wall and he should stick to his. As far as I know, you own half (the half on your side) of the boundary...

Whose responsibility is it to ensure cattle and livestock are secure

Yes it is his responsibility to ensure his cattle cannot break out, but one mans idea of adequate fencing might not be the same as anothers. Indeed one bullock's idea of an insurmountable fence may be very different from anothers! There are grey areas here..... Electric fences usually are...

Whose responsibility is it to ensure cattle and livestock are secure

As far as I know you cannot force someone to fence their property regardless of how inadequate their fences are. Having said that if his animals do do damage to your property through his lack of adequate fencing then it's his liability. He has or should have insurance to cover this risk.
