    Should I bother trying...?

Doesn't look good.... I was pessimistic with the numbers I put up, but still.... frustrating....

    Should I bother trying...?

Yes - very cognizant of this ballet.... However, is this not the situation for anyone moving house?

    Should I bother trying...?

No - not a tracker. Actually not long since we renegotiated so I'm in the fixed period of a variable mortgage.

    Should I bother trying...?

So, I know there are many, many deciding factors, nuances and points of consideration, but I was hoping to get some very top level guidance from people who know far more than I do. Essentially, I've seen a house my wife and I really, really like, but I'm wondering if we would even be considered...

    Smelly face cloths

Boil them or hot wash them and then dry them properly and as quickly as possible. I had the same issue with towels as fraggle mentions above. I think they had sat in the washing machine too long after the cycle had finished or didn't dry very quickly on an airer. Anyway, a couple of 90deg hot...

    UPC or Sky?

The Sky website will tell you if you can receive they're broadband service via your phone number and Eircom UAN. I can't vouch for how reliable this is however, and obviously, if you don't already have an Eircom line this may complicate things. Just to throw this into the mix, I'm currently...

    UPC or Sky?

IMO Sky for TV is better than UPC. Number of reasons for this but I find the EPG a lot easier to use, the channel selection far better and the service much more consistent. Now Sky have released their phone and BB offer in Ireland it might be worth you looking at moving everything in that...

    Cleaning Keyboard on computer

Try putting it in the dishwasher... Sounds daft I know but so long as it's allowed to dry before you plug it in again its a good way to clean it. [broken link removed]

Appropriate approach to someone driving at 90kph in the middle lane of the Naas Rd?

Ahhh.... now it all becomes clear..... I think the prolonged debate within this thread is actually a result of the same point being argued from different directions.

Appropriate approach to someone driving at 90kph in the middle lane of the Naas Rd?

Having read some of the posts above I hope I never come across certain AAM board members on the road.... maybe their user names' might be a clue in spotting them by their car colour... ;) Anyway.... I think a little answer wiki might be in order... 1 - You must always overtake on the...

SSE fined for miss-selling in the UK

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22011717 Any chance that Irish authorities might look into the selling practices of SSE's brand Airtricity in the Irish market. I'll not name the outsource sales company (unless mods approve) but the culture of misrepresentation is ingrained in SSE...

    Green stained garden walls

Are the walls properly capped and does the capping have a drip edge to it?

    Recommend Family Type Car

I'd recommend looking at estate cars as opposed to an SUV. Generally they would be cheaper to buy and cheaper to run and will drive better than a high riding pseudo-off-roader. I'd also recommend diesel as the default choice, again due to running costs on the size of vehicle you're looking for...

    Noise after flushing toilet

Had this problem also. I went into the loft and had my wife flush the loo so I could tell which pipe was 'hammering'. I just moved it slightly (literally a few millimeters) and put a wedge against it to hold it taught in position. Problem solved.

    Speeding Fine in Hired Car

There's a reciprocal arrangement between Northern Ireland and the Republic (I believe, but I'm happy to be corrected) but not between mainland UK and ROI.

    UTV router setup?

Anyone know the relevant settings for a TP-Link router for UTV broadband? Could do with getting it set up this evening and support line is closed.

    Euro Parking Collection plc

While it may be argued that you have a moral duty to pay up there is no legal requirement for you to pay. The body responsible for collecting tolls and issuing fines in ROI has no jurisdiction in the UK. The company that have written to you purchase the details of UK reg cars passing through...

    Removing Algae on concrete wall

Just to add to the above, a power hose is ideal for washing walls but I've found using a patio cleaner keeps the mess down considerably. Google 'Karcher Patio attachment'

    buying an expired domain?

No need to wait. Most companies that register domains for you will allow you to pre-order domains before they expire. Once the domain becomes available they snap it up for you. Have a chat to someone like Black Knight (no affiliation) and they'll explain how it works.
