Thanks for the advice. Power-washer with the 'silver bullet' sounds like the best option, any idea how much it costs and where to buy mathepac?
I was desperate enough to try the 'chemical' stuff especially since the drains had been cleared so recently and the tank emptied. ( So much for the...
My septic tank was emptied a few months ago and are backed up yet again. Can someone please advise me where to go to get drain rods, the do's and don'ts, never used them in my life.
Also is it possible for 3ply toilet roll to block drains?
thanks
Thanks for advice. Checked the manhole pipes blocked even though got tank emptied and pipes cleaned couple of months back. Did my best to clear it, ended up using cillit bang, even though its probably the wrong thing to use with a bio septic tank.

Just discovered the outside tap was left on with garden hose attached for possibly over a week, big blunder, no lectures please.
What happens to the build up of water in the hose? Where does it go. Would it have anything to do with toilet back up?
Thanks in advance

If this issue has been discussed before could link be provided please.
We got a home security alarm when we built our home some years ago. The installer recommended a company from an neighbouring county at a significant cost, somewhat like eircom watch... we did not avail of it.

Re: GARDEN SHED, I need one.
I looked into all types of sheds, basically wood and steel had a problem with coondensation, based on other peoples experiences, and it seemed the best was block built. Any truth in any of it based on yer experience?
I bought a steam cleaner in lidl months ago, never used it yet. The instructions mentioned every thing except wooden floors. Is it ok to steam clean wooden floors? Worried in case it might take off the finish. Anyone got experience of this? Thanks
