    Credit Card Debt

Would it be possible to transfer the balance to another card with lower interest to clear it? Someone suggested this to me yesterday but i don't know if its a good route or not? We'd potentially clear it in about 5-6 months if the interest wasn't such a killer. At this rate its gonna take a...

    B1 late submission

An extract from the CRO Website states that: "Where an annual return is filed late, in the year in which an exemption is claimed or in the preceding year, the company loses its entitlement to claim audit exemption not only for the year in question but the next year also". But it then goes on...

    New Vat Rules

Quick question everyone. With effect from 1 May 2008, the VAT registration thresholds for small businesses will be increased from €35,000 to €37,500 in the case of services, and from €70,000 to €75,000 in the case of goods. What is the threshold if you provide both goods & services? Thanks

Ltd Company and number of Directors

Technically there should be no such thing as an "off the shelf" company. The Companies Act 1999 was amended to do away with shelf companies. The reason shelf companies used to be incorporated is because it used to take to long to get them registered. Now it only takes company formation agents...

    MOA & AOA templates

A friend of mine used the above named company and did all the filing himself. When he went to open a bank account, the memorandum & articles didn't have a clause to facilitate him opening a bank account or avail of a credit card facility/overdraft etc. IMO this would be a standard basic clause...

Re: can I use a name that already exists Don't go ahead and order stationary e.g. headed paper etc until you have registered with CRO as you need to put your company/business number on the page. To see if it is registered in Ireland, go to www.cro.ie and go to the company search facility...
