I have been living in one for the last two years. We are just about to move out of ours and into our new house next month. House was built within the year (living on the site had a lot to do with it). We installed seven radiators and boiler into ours and had it nice and cosy for the winter...

    B&Q Kitchens

I tried B & Q for my kitchen and found them more expensive than MFI. They have just recently opened next door to B & Q in Newry. Recently purchsed my kitchen and bathroom suites from them. I had priced around a good few and found them to be the best especially with the sterling rate being so...

    Problem with site boundaries

Id make it right before you start as it could lead to bigger problems down the road, i.e. selling the property etc. We had to buy an extra piece of land from next door just to get the size of house we wanted to build and it is only giong to be a garden area.

Mould on clothes & window blinds

I had similar problems in our mobile home. I bought a Glen Dimplex dehumidifer in Power City for €120 (i think) and it works brilliantly. It actually releases warm air out. Its amazing how much water it fills in no time. It has solved our problem - we had no more damp/moulded clothes/shoes...

    Cement - paint damage

Similar problem happened to my other half. He parked his new car in work (construction site car park) and came back to find car covered in specks of it. Had to leave it in to be cleaned/buffed in garage as the cement had burnt into the paint and windscreen. Luckly it was brand new so that...

    Resident's Association looking for money

Just one thing to be careful of, in my last estate they did a resident association collection which was fine as the grass looked well when it was cut, as we have a large green area, then they decided to get barrels in for plants, puting hedging at entrance (when it grows it will block the view)...
