Hello Thank you for your reply to my question, just to clarify if the debt is statute barred that will mean they cannot legally try to recover the debts I incurred before 2012.

Would I be liable for past debt when left Ireland in 2012, I had deals done with two banks but two other debts was left without contact (car loan & credit union loan). My choice was to go bankrupt or leave. If I returned would the financial institutions come after me for payment of past debts...
