The helpline is anything but helpful. All they will say now is your part of the review. Its a change to what they were saying a few weeks ago. "Putting the customer first".

If defeats the entire purpose of them having a dedicate number if the person on the other end hasn't a clue if your included or not. They are supposed start refunding people in 2 weeks and they haven't a clue who is included yet.

I think everyone should ring again and see why they have changed their tactics. When will this exclusion list be completed etc.

I called the helpline yesterday and they were neither able to confirm or deny I would be included in the cohort. The man on the phone said I would know in July or August. I told him I got the cheque for 1615 and he said that not everyone who got the cheque will be included and stressed again...

Have aib sent a letter to everyone regarding this payment? When I called the helpline today they ask the question if you have or have not received a letter. Press 1 if you have and 2 if you haven't. Also from speaking to the guy on the phone he could neither confirm or deny my mortgage account...

If your sending a letter to BDO or AIB I'd advise getting it registered. Not the smartest tools in the box these guys. Register everything.
