    AIB Cashback

If you switched mortgage the next day they still must pay you the €2000 it is EU law, might take up to 2 months before you get the money but it will come even if you have switched again.

    Cashback Solicitor

Look up some of the earlier posts about switching that I have posted. Basically get all your paperwork in order to apply to PTSB, BOI, EBS who all offer 2% cashback and then get approval from them all. Do this all at the same time so you get approval and are ready to drawdown all loans at the...

EBS - BOI - what to do next?

Yes Cash back on the same property is fine although EBS is the only Bank to say specifically state in their t & c's that they only give cash back once on a property. If you bought a new property EBS will give you cash back again because it is a new property. With PTSB you do need to be with...

Multiple switches - when to initiate next switch?

That is bloody amazing Giddings well done, glad more people are beginning to take my advice. I have been quiet for a while because i have been getting ready to go again and my Solicitor just requested funds on Monday. On a side note, i paid off my An post Credit Card with my new Avantcard and...

Multiple switches - when to initiate next switch?

Yes Giddings you are correct, you don't have to wait until the cash back is your account to switch again. Once you have drawn down the Mortgage the Bank has to pay you the cash back even if you switch the next day.

Can I get cash back twice from one provider?

Any thoughts on how i might get on? My Solicitors thinks that when the underwriters start looking into my history they will see a pattern of 3 quick switches in the last 20 months or so. I am hoping that they just see that my credit history is perfect with 2 good incomes etc.

Can I get cash back twice from one provider?

Hi lads just wondering what your thoughts are considering the current circumstances with Covid 19 what impact might it have on myself if i was looking to do multiple switches starting next week. I have everything lined up and ready to go, been with EBS since December 2018 so about 15 months. I...

Key Post Advice on making the most of switcher offers - what order?

Yes possibly but still well worth a go. You are doing nothing wrong or illegal as i keep reminding people.

Key Post Advice on making the most of switcher offers - what order?

You could apply to all the banks as a first time buyer and get approval from them all. Then just get your solicitor to switch asap between the banks. The same rules apply , your mortgage approval should be valid for 6 months and if you have 3 or 4 approvals in place then there is nothing...

Key Post Advice on making the most of switcher offers - what order?

If you go for a variable rate you can switch whenever you want without a penalty. If you go for a fixed rate you will have to pay a penalty if you want to break out before the fixed period is up. Variable rates are higher but just tell the bank that you don't want to fix just yet as you think...

    Multiple Switch & Breakout Fee

Good man Waffles23 fair play, you are in for a nice windfall with such a big mortgage. Take my advice and consult with your solicitor first, PTSB will never know and have no reason to ask for anymore info once you have a full mortgage offer. Just be careful not to switch until you have all your...

Key Post Advice on making the most of switcher offers - what order?

Doesn't really matter all you have to say is that the 2% cash back is attractive and you want a nice wee holiday or something.

    Threatening to switch

Why don't you do a few switches at the same time. You are getting 2% cash back so over €6000 a time. That will go some way to cancelling out you breakage fee of €10,000. Wait until you are 12 months with BOI and then switch to EBS, PTSB, KBC, AIB, and then finish with UB for 2.2%. Read up on...

2 Mortgage switches - KBC requirements

Well done Username123 on the 3 switches, yes i would just plough on and see what happens. I'd be surprised if anything or anyone notices and even if they do nothing will happen. What the bank might do is resend the documents with the actual mortgage details you are switching from.

2 Mortgage switches - KBC requirements

My advice is to say nothing and just get your solicitor to redeem the mortgage. If KBC ask any questions just say you moved to AIB and now to them (KBC) they shouldn't care because all they want to do is lend the money to you because you have meet all their criteria. They all want to reach their...

    Multiple Switching Issue

Someone has commented on a similar topic that the Bank did notice he was with a different lender than the one on the application, but had no issue with it and gave him the mortgage.
