Changing management company without telling home owners

I do/did know who they were. I bought off the plans and still in my home where many have sold up or moved and become landlords. I have always found them difficult to deal with. I have contacted them so many times over the years about statements even of my own account and been brushed off and as...

Changing management company without telling home owners

Apparently the above has or is happening where I bought my property circa 21 years ago. It was purely by rumour some of us found out but when I queried it with the company they said letters were delivered and not one (of 120 homes) responded at all. I certainly did not get a letter and just...

Mortgage Transfer from Joint to Sole

That was with KBC just to add. On the point of deeds that was a different thing and I had to pay a conveyancing solicitor to do this transfer for me. Cost circa 2k.

Mortgage Transfer from Joint to Sole

It is called a transfer of equity but is essentially a new mortgage with a new mortgage agreement number. I went through the process myself a couple of years ago.

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

I actually am acquainted with Conor so that is a good idea. Might fire him off a text this morning. # Plus side is that gas networks have already been here this morning an reconnected me. Downside is that energia have a LOT of explaining to do and I am switching over as this was a bloody...

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

I work 50% of the time from home and none of the kids would be home before me so fairly sure no letters arrived. Gas networks have been in touch to say they will reconnect Monday. Its not ideal but glad we have a country club membership to use till then for showers but glad I made three calls...

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

God no I pay all my bills and on time so this was a sudden thing. I have the money and have paid the bill in full etc it is just how it is taking so long for it to be sorted. Surely 3 weeks is a HUGE amount of time to be without y0ur primary energy source? I have no paper demands here but if I...

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

Well i have paid them their 180 euro which i am fairly sure was not going to bankrupt them and changed service provider so will see how this plays out. Not in contract and owe nothing so this might be amusing bar the fact I have no hot water or heat. I am sure I can magic up some oven dinners....

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

They did not mention a fee just that gas networks could not come till 13th and I am cut off till then so would it be a case that if i pay and try change that whomever takes over will have an issue? Also my bills the last two times were underestimated. Hugely. The last gas bill for sept was...

Energia - cut off gas, will not reconnect for three weeks.

Changed bank recenty due to UB pulling out of Ireland and my gas with energia seems to have not come out the past few months which I had not noticed. Did not see a disconnection letter come in the house but low and behold yesterday when I was at work, gas networks came and shut off my gas...

Key Post Should borrowers with trackers consider fixing? (General guidelines)

    1) Existing tracker margin. 1.1% 2) Amount outstanding on your mortgage 130 3) Remaining term 15 years 4) Lender KBC 5) Value of your home Approx 250k Hi Brendan, Having only gotten my tracker back in I think 2019 or so when all the tracker stuff was going on I really enjoy the lower cost of...

Where do you get advice on mortgages and separation?

It will depend on many factors really but the best advice I got was actually from the legal aid board. Even if you are not able to go through legal aid they can give you advice on the matter. No two situations are the same. Reading through threads on this board is great too as a lot of us have...

Were you charged legal fees for arrears cases by KBC, ptsb or EBS?

I phoned a few times, I sent two emails and a letter. I finally got a call back on Friday evening and got it sorted but my god the hoops you have to go through with them just to get to talk to someone who has a clue. Awful shower to deal with - unless you owe them money of course and they call...

Were you charged legal fees for arrears cases by KBC, ptsb or EBS?

Anyone issues with getting legal fees back? I have been on the phone to about 5 different people and despite getting a letter, asking for the payment authorisation form to be completed, a call back to confirm the bank details I have not been able to get any satisfaction off them and now...

Is this a breach of data protection?

Ok cheers for that it saves me sending a very wordy email that may not work out well lol but yes I forgot that people are working from home still with little access to systems as my own job has been as if no pandemic ever hit since day one. It actually did not occur to me being honest. Will wait...

Is this a breach of data protection?

So despite his name not being on the mortgage and already agreed that he has no interest in the property since 2007 and legal fees added in 2008 and all monies previously agreed with solicitors being given to me this could still be an issue? I could still need his signature on this? I just want...

Is this a breach of data protection?

Yes everything was initially in respect of the joint mortgage but as he had never paid towards it both of our solicitors advised the bank that redress and compensations should all come just to myself and when all that was done I was able to get him off the mortgage and then the deeds.

Is this a breach of data protection?

The basics. Part of the tracker redress cohort. Bit of a battle with my ex and the bank but money overcharged was eventually taken off the mortgage and redress given solely to myself and a transfer of equity done whereby ex removed from mortgage and subsequently title deeds of property. I did...
