    Hi all, I received €20k chq this morning! Wasn’t expecting that much (obviously did my calculations wrong) but was disappointed with the compensation amount. It outlines €17.2k was overpaid in interest and the compo for that is €2,119! Which is 12%... It really seems like a small figure to me...

    Muddle, just go ahead and lodge the chq to your mortgage account... the teller won’t know head office said you have to have your ex’s consent.... either way your doing nothing wrong... your lodging a chq payable to both parties named on the mortgage account...

    Hello Bob or anyone else that can help! Just wondering if your mortgage is in sole or joint names... I would like to know if the compensation cheque from UB was payable to joint account holders or if 2 cheques issued with the compensation halved.... Thanks in advance
