    Data Centres-Cooling Technologies Companies?

How about "Data Centres-Cooling Technologies Companies"? To my view it's a growing sector: - global warming to my view is a reality - the more we all stay on our smartphone the more the data handling - the more the data handling the more the risk that processors/servers/storage breaks down due...

Losses on shares, where is the official wording on the four-weeks period after the selling please?

6 years plus after I posed my query I see still doubts... So personally I keep playing safe vs that wording: am I selling share x or buying it? I do that >28 days after having touched it last time... This way I challenge everyone whether I am 100% fine with my cgt calcs each year...

Are bitcoin buyers paying tax properly?

Exactly my point! But when I started investing in shares my brokers sent me tax forms etc on a periodical basis to keep reminding me - and I pay all taxes up to the last cent - of being transparent with the local govt tax office. I doubt that in the crypto world there is such an advanced state...

Are bitcoin buyers paying tax properly?

Hi all, sorry for rejoining this thread after I promised I finished my arguments on risks of crypto/bitcoins but I have one more query that puzzles me... When people buy fractions of bitcoins/cryptos either through exchange or directly and then they buy and sell or switch what is the EU doing in...

"Comparing Bitcoin to Ponzi Schemes is unfair...

I leave this thread because I think I am being misunderstood... I am writing against bitcoin and cryptos not because I have an alternative investment to propose you... But only because I am worried that certain lovely savers I know in person that have been overfocusing on crypto (to my view!)...

"Comparing Bitcoin to Ponzi Schemes is unfair...

No, you don't stop me ever. Because I state my opinions without any aim to offend ever. So here I am again. First of all look at google and you will see that Bitcoin is one of the cryptocurrencies. So Bitcoin is part of crypto and not synonym. So don't manipulate what I wrote before please...

"Comparing Bitcoin to Ponzi Schemes is unfair...

Thank you so much @tecate for reminding me of the great song "Only Time Will Tell" of Mike Oldfield! We'll all draw our conclusions in due time that's for sure! ...Sam Bankman-Fried already drew his conclusions in the meantime burning overnight 8B USD from common investors!

"Comparing Bitcoin to Ponzi Schemes is unfair...

I still believe that cryptos are the first real attempt of a Worldwide Ponzi Scheme (never really tried before on such scale) and because we're 8.1 Billion and counting: https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ ...Then there are still new customers to be found for a while... I prefer...

The Movie "Dumb Money" really improved my life :))))

Not sure why it's still so underrated but: 1) it's like the opposite of "Big Short": many won something vs a few... 2) it strengthened within me the importance of ethical investing also for my own sense of integrity 3) each time I feel low I can look at wallstreetbets forum for some crazy...

Employee Share Purchase Plans (ESSPs) and FIFO rule applicability when selling shares of the same company

Advice please... I've shares in my employer's company already. I bought them through my broker years ago and I'm happy in keeping them. Now my employer is proposing to me a very good Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESSP). As part of the terms for such plan after a number of years the agent can...

    Crypto. Ponzi Scheme?

Nasdaq keeps going down and so DJIA since beginning of the year: inflation as key justification. And crypto dropping at higher speed in % than major indexes... For all the believers of Crypto as alternative to gold in times of fear: reality is contraddicting this propaganda...
