Just to let ppl know I was awarded an extra €2,500 on compensation I was awarded 12k initially and 1200 compensation I missed just one payment a few years back and we struggled to clear it We were harassed by the bank weekly to pay it and this was the grounds of my appeal Delighted!!

Thank you, mine is with them 2 months and they have looked for stuff from Boi 3 times, and they await the 3 return request. The banks are stalling..

Just posted my appeal pack today on the grounds of not happy with compensation amount. I had to borrow money from my parents when I was unemployed

Today I got my data protection pack from Boi and a lot of stuff has black lines throughout it as if covering lines of conversation o phone calls Surely this can't be legal

Just received my data protection pack from BOI A lot of stuff redacted (think that's the word when they use black marker to cover off stuff) Any advise can they do this? It seems to be in the middle of text of phone calls

Yes you prob should have written from the start They will reply to you but u may only get a standard reply but at least you know they are looking

Have you received any letter even confirming that they have your details and all cases are still being looked at. U should at least get that

Thanks Jim I missed one payment in 10 years but we struggled to pay our mortgage as I was unemployed for a while during this time We struggled to pay back that missed payment but the bank hounded us to pay it.. I have requested records of all calls and letters from arrears.. I got 10%...

I am currently putting my appeals pack together which will include all correspondence from bank arrears team, copy of credit card statement showing I had to use my card during times when I struggled to pay mortgage.. anything else needed to go with my appeal??
