KBC KBC - redress amounts confirmed?

Received redress pack today. Kbc have suited themselves in how they have allocated amounts against capital as I had an interest only period for a time but that’s KBC !

KBC KBC giving me back my tracker!

August 2007 I topped up and went onto fixed. This part of my mortgage was not returned to tracker last week so I will be appealing this. I had my main mortgage on tracker from 2004 and a top up from 2005 also on tracker, I fixed these two parts in May 2007 and these two parts have been returned...

KBC KBC giving me back my tracker!

I received my rate rectification letter today from KBC. I have 4 parts to my mortgage after top ups etc. two parts revert to tracker and two carry on at variable rate. Disappointingly the letter does not give the detail of the capital balance on each part at which the new repayments have been...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Best to seek an expert professional opinion rather than upset yourself further if you believe you should belong in scope. It is a terribly difficult matter if you feel your mortgage contract has not been honoured. As previously posted here seek Padraics advice whether you have a case anyone who...

I think some posters are getting way off topic here, let’s keep it to the title of the threads

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Just to update(I posted yesterday to say I received the letter) I got a call back from KBC Tracker team today as I called looking for an update earlier this week. The caller acknowledged the letter and noted that I'm in the Group of accounts considered as impacted at that point I asked them to...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Hi, Yes I believe the 2007 Fixed rate instruction i signed is quite Infamous, The Financial ombudsman rejected me on the grounds of this form - Shame on them. The FSO believed it was clear and unambiguous !! My original contract after referring to my tracker rate for the lifetime of my loan does...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

I took out a mortgage on Tracker in 2004, the flyer of November 2006 does not apply to my circumstances. In 2007 I signed the fixed rate instruction for 3 year fixed rate, with the wording thereafter "reverting" to the standard variable rate. At the end of 3 years I was placed on a product rate...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

I got similar letter today in the Post - Belong to a group of accounts considered Impacted it states. I was tracker from 2004, then Fixed for 3 years in May 2007 and reverted to SVR. Im of the belief they are not ready with the exact calculations(That bit may sound obvious).

KBC KBC returned my tracker, after taking it from me as a condition for restructuring back in 2009

Congratulations to those who received letters so far, hopefully the speed picks up for the rest of the impacted cohorts, those only "recently" deemed impacted will be waiting im told by KBC

Who got good news and who got bad news yesterday?

Until a Letter pops through your door from KBC to specifically identify where they are putting you its impossible to know what "Tracker" you will be put back on. I drewdown on a tracker in 2004 and fixed in '07 on the "Revert to SVR" MFA for 3 years. Hoping to go back to my price promised...

    KBC TRACKER Problems getting information/statements

Writing a letter of complaint is the only way, you should get a response then although it may take months.

KBC KBC told brokers" all fixed rate loans will roll onto trackers on expiry"

Phase 2 is no longer the ideal body of work or project milestone that the CBI or others would have hoped, it has evolved and the cohorts that have not yet been dealt with may still be in phase 2 while others move to Phase 3 which has been the case industry wide in all banks.

KBC KBC told brokers" all fixed rate loans will roll onto trackers on expiry"

This time last year they provided a figure of €4.4 million which has only been released today so an indication as to how much they dug there heels in is they have now been pushed into having provide more than 12 times this amount.

KBC KBC told brokers" all fixed rate loans will roll onto trackers on expiry"

I think this provision announcement is long overdue but KBC have dragged this on and prolonged the saga for far too many Customers they are a disgrace. They need to concentrate on completing this task and finally write to people impacted only then should we be satisfied they are co-operating...
