Finally after what feels like forever, we've gotten our tracker returned to us Have any other BOI customers received a letter?? They said our redress & compensation pack will follow in a few weeks..has anyone actually received their redress/compensation pack yet??

Delighted u got urs back Do u know is it only staff that are getting them back thou?? I'm a BOI customer & im sick of ringing the Helpline, to be told the same old thing

Believe me BOI are making all the right noises to the media etc.. but that's all they are doing Don't be fooled by the so called extra 6000 customers being compensated..

That "helpline" is a joke Not one bit of consistency with what they're telling customers.. unfortunately I think a lot of people, myself included will be starting 2018 off no nearer to getting their money back

Glad to hear u have heard from them.. The fact that they're offering less than other banks, doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I wouldn't expect anything else from them €250 towards independent legal advice, isn't much thou, when u think about it?? That's an expense that you wouldn't have...

Just wondered if anyone that has actually received a letter from BOI in particular, is actually happy with the compensation that's been offered to them?? I obviously still haven't heard a word, but was just interested to know if anyone has received some good news??

Can I ask the people that have received letters from BOI yesterday & today, if this was the first time BOI have contacted them?? Were u guys in the original impacted customers??

I spoke with someone in BOI just a few mins ago & he said they had just been informed that letters are to be sent out tmrw, to impacted customers?? I don't believe him to be honest, but will live in hope that I'm wrong

i will definitely be there At this stage, it's our only option.. we need to make a lot of noise & let the banks know, we're not going anywhere..

That's all that "helpline " seem to do, is give out false information It's so frustrating.. I wouldn't mind but the lady that I always seem to speak with, is as nice as pie.. telling me to " just hang in there, for another few weeks "

As far as I'm concerned I am impactedFixed for 3 yrs in 2007, when that fixed rate was up, BOI said' we don't offer that product anymore', when I mentioned going back on my tracker..

Did u just decide yourself to contact them?? Or was it suggested by someone to do it?? Maybe the more of us that do that, the better??

Well I can only go by what she told meShe said no one has been contacted yet?? They apparently scent issued any letters?? Personally I don't believe a word they say to be honest
