The only thing I would say is do not be disillusioned by the info you are getting from the 'helpless line' or indeed the mortgage centre. I rang about a week before we got ours and was told there was no adjustment on our balance , no notes indicating our redress cheque was being issued etc etc...

Hi All, I too received my redress letter and cheque by courier this evening. I am in shock to be honest. Like above our documentation is same. I hope everyone else gets sorted soon. I am taking advice on the new forms.

On a different note, we received a letter saying they were 'endeavouring' to get our redress sorted by year end but at the latest it would be Jan 2018. We sit and the wait continues.... 9 years and counting. Zzzz

Ours also. The monthly payment was debited on same date but was 500 euro less than normal! Then about a week later letter arrived. Has anyone had any joy from the mobile mortgage advisor from your area? Do they have any concrete info on individual cases

Yes, I found out today after using the UB online chat tool that you need to have a current account to link up to your mortgage account and view online.

I agree. I too have felt beyond frustrated after ringing the 'helpline'. It doesn't help my sanity. I have decided that UB have til after Christmas, then it is time for action. We need to mind ourselves and use our energies to fight back in an impactful lway should they not deliver.

I did a P21 and the revenue transfered the overcharge into my bank yesterday on the same day that the letter arrived notifying me of the refund. Ulster Bank could learn a thing or two about how to process a refund quickly, in fact 4 days to be exact. It takes UB 8yrs and we are still bloody...

I rang the unhelpful tracker helpline earlier too. Shouldn't have bothered. As expected no details. I can't explain how angry I am with Ulster Bank at this point.

I was told 8 weeks on the 12th September. If they don't get their skates on they will have a crowd in the Ulster bank HO foyer with the national media in tow.

Jan 2018 it is. If we can enough people we should do a protest. If not, I would suggest groups of people going into each bank HO with signs stating "tracker victim, waiting 9yrs" etc etc. Refuse to leave until you receive specific case clarification. Record the visit/interaction. Post it online...
