Zanussi Fridge Discontinued Line - Where can i get one?

Are you sure that the fridge is definitely dead? My Ariston integrated fridge stopped cooling last week and I fixed it for €14 by replacing the thermostat. If you have had it checked out and it is definitely not economic to repair then I suggest trying [broken link removed] They do sell some...

Approx Cost of Bag of Wood Chipping

I beleive they are around €6.99 a bag, but often they have a 3 for the price of 2 deal. Woodies usually do anyway, the brand that they stock curently is Hortons. I got 12 bags about a month ago, and its good quality.

Anyone have a Gazco Riva 67 Designio fire?

Fentons supplied and fitted ours. I had to considerably modify the opening, increasing its height by 18" to allow the fire to be 14" off the floor, and widening by about 7" each side. They wont undertake that work, they just want to fit it into the space, install the flue and connect the gas...

    B&Q Kitchens

I would have to agree, we found the best value was Cash & Carry Kitchens. By value I mean value for money without sacrificing quality. They are very well built for the money, compared to some bespoke Kitchen suppliers who's quality is much the same but price far higher. The only drawback with...

Anyone have a Gazco Riva 67 Designio fire?

We have have had one for about 3 years. We get a bit of wind noise on really windy days as the cowl on the chimney blew down about a year ago, and I haven't had a chance to put it back. We get no drafts from it at all. It works really well and looks very good. We had it installed on a newly...

Solar shed lights - any experience/recommendations?

Hi have the one that you posed from ebay/maplin in my 8x8 shed. It really is barely usable. It is very dim, basically seems more like 1W to me. Ok maybe it is not that bad, but I expected more I guess. It casts just enough light so that you can see something if you know where it is, but not...

    Dishwasher Stuck

If you look at the front to the dishwasher down low you will likely see a slot where you can insert a screwdriver. Many integrated appliances have an adjustment towards the front that raises the rear of the appliance to press tightly on to the counter top. Id say that is what you are experiencing.

    Insink Erator

We have had one for the last two years and find it fantastic, we use it every day. The main benefit is that the bins don't smell anymore as there is hardly any perishable waste going into the bins. Our main reason for getting it was when we were fitting out our renovated house the local council...

Are low energy LED based downlighters available in shops yet

Ive been doing a bit of research on them myself too. They are avaiable in a number of different configurations in terms of output but the minumum really to give any sort of decent lighting for a room is at least 3w versions which are suppoed to be around 30w equivilent. The 1 or 2 watt ones are...

    Plasterer Needed

I'm looking for a plasterer too, I cant believe how unreliable many of them seem to be. I have just been stood up for the third day by plasterers who were to come to plaster our extension. Normally I wouldn't mind so much but my wife is due to have our second baby late next week and the house...
