Health Insurance Young adults and keeping them on family policy

If it was me, I would get her the lowest level/cheapest plan just to keep the policy active and she can up the cover when she gets home.

Not sure but don’t intend to withdraw. It’s my daughter’s (ex UB) account and she wil have no need for the money.

No change in my insurance going from diesel to EV. Dream anc reasonable (home charging at EV rate) car to drive - will never go back to ICE.

    Smart thermostat

Google nest here too. Simple to use and does the job. I can control my heat and hot water from an app (all one zone so easy). Got it free/v cheap with my energy provider. Climote is similar. Just check if huge provider offer any at a good price.

Can I refuse to have my ESB Meter replaced with a Smart Meter?

Best smart EV plan is the electric Ireland boost plan. Still dearer than the energia d/n EV plan though. Plus you’re locked into smart tarrifs then.

Can I refuse to have my ESB Meter replaced with a Smart Meter?

Can I refuse to have my ESB Meter replaced with a Smart Meter?

U still get FIT if no smart metre. It’s estimated based on size of system. I have battery and EV so v little going back to grid so estimate works best for me.. I’m waiting on my smart meter to be replaced with D/N meter. Will be big savings for me as can change the EV and battery on night rate...

    Solar installation query

I’m getting my smart meter changed to a day/night meter. Much better rates than smart/24 hour meters. ESP with EV.,

I didn’t realize they were prepay. Have heard of them but never looked into rates - and at those rates I won’t be either!
