    KBC KBC update December

    c. 1,907 mortgage accounts that converted from a tracker rate to another rate product post drawdown up to the period July 2008 are now identified as impacted. Does this mean if you had a tracker and switched to a fixed rate in august 2008 that you are deemed not impacted? Surely they can't...

    KBC KBC update December

The cohorts have changed since end October. I agree there is some "jiggling" around of the cohorts. Anyone that was moved off a tracker by KBC should be returned. Those now that signed the fixed rate stating on expiry they would go to the Standard Variable Rate will now it appears be returned...

Daniel McConnell Irish examiner Saturday 21/10 "My anger, my outrage is directed not just at the scumbags in the banks who as a matter of policy moved people off their supposedly legally-binding tracker mortgages. Those crooks should be hung, drawn and quartered for what they did, but my ire...

    The missed cohort

"If the reversionary rate was clear on the face of the offer" It's not clear!! Premature to state "I don't see any particular reason why your mortgage would have been included in the review"

    The missed cohort

Extremely sharp practice on the part of the bank possibly breaching code of conduct! Loan was underwritten as a tracker then pulled it from under your feet before drawdown! Certainly didn't have your bests interests at heart! Lack of disclosure and transparency!

However we were put on a fixed rate. We do remember thinking of fixing the rate...
