We have a wood floor that either needs to be relayed (due to a water leak under part of it) or replaced. As it was a very expensive wood originally we would like to keep it and have some left over wood that might be possible to use to replace the parts that need to be replaced. Our problem is finding a wood floor fitter who could give us advice, and do the job. We asked a fellow who works for a wood floor shop to come to have a look - he was working in an apartment behind us. However, while he hasn't yet come round to us, the people he is working for said they were told their job would take 5 days and 3 and a half weeks later it isn't finished. They said the standard is good but wouldn't recommend him otherwise. We live in Dun Laoghaire.
