Laya Flex 375 Plus alternatives?

My Flex 375 Plus is up for renewal in a few days. I'm looking at Precision 300 Create or Precision 150 Create as alternatives.

I'm generally healthy. I have about 2 GP visits a year + general dentist visits + the odd trip to the phyisio. The €1 excess on the Create plans would benefit me on this.

Any thoughts? or should I drop the outpatient benefits and go for something cheaper?

JohnJay,

The 'Precision' range of plans have a restricted list of private hospitals covered.

1. The following plan from VHI Company Plan Plus Level 1.3, is worth considering @ price 1128.
All public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered. Private/hi-tech excess 150 per admission or 50 per day case procedure.
Good day to day cover included with a 1 euro excess. 50% refund for gp visits, etc.

Note; there is a further incentive to move to VHI at the moment, there is a 100 euro on offer for VHI customers if you sign up for automated payments and if you also opt to receive documentation online. You have until 1st September 2018 to sign up, and the 100 euro will be lodged
to your a/c after this date. All relevant details as follows;

Alternatively, Laya Essential Health 300; price 895pa; is worth considering as a cheaper option with no day to day benefits.
All public, private and some hi-tech hospitals covered. Private/hi-tech excess 300 x 2 max per year for all admissions.
Day case excess 125 per procedure. No day to day benefits on this plan.

You have 14 days from your renewal date to change your mind if you want.
