Simply Connect Plus alternatives

A similar alternative is Simply Connect price 1179pa. Recent changes to both plans means that day to day expenses are covered upto 500 per
year ie. half of 1000 = 500.

From March 1st 2018, VHI Company Plan Plus Level 1.3 is reduced to 1128pa.

HI Could someone let me know if there is a similar policy to LAYA Flex 500 at a lower cost with similar benifits my renewall is €816

Just to highlight that there were changes made to Flex 500 Explore since last April re hi-tech hospital cover.
There is full cover just for cardiac and orthopaedic surgery on this plan, in Mater Private and Blackrock Clinic, no other surgery is covered in
these 2 hospitals. Beacon hospital is covered as before.

A plan with similar full hi-tech hospital cover as before is Laya Control 600 Connect, price 852pa.

Otherwise, if the changes are not an issue, an alternative option with public and private hospital cover is as follows;
VHI One Plan 500; price 769pa; all public and private hospitals covered, private excess 500 x 2 max per year, day case excess 150.

I'm not sure when your renewal date is, there may be more reductions applying from April onwards which will be shown on the HIA website
in the weeks ahead.
