Things you cannot bring to Guns and Roses concert

Firstly if people have large bags, they will needs to be searched and that will slow down people entering the site and cause queues and crush risks. Secondly, if the weather is that bad, likelihood is you'll be wearing rain gear going in anyway. It's quite common for venues to restrict the size of bags being brought into it. We're perhaps more familiar here with being able to bring the "hang sangwich" and the flask into Semple Stadium but places like the Bayern Munich and Fenway Park in Boston have luggage parks where if you have a big bag, you'll be told to leave it there in a locker or bag park outside of the ground
 
The terms rucksack and backpack are interchangeable, some regions favour one term over the other. The promoters may mean the larger packs, but remember the Boston bombs were carried in small packs.

You could use a mini-pack like [broken link removed] to stow stuff once inside, fold it into a pocket and just carry or wear your waterproof coat entering the venue. If bringing boots, just wear them in!
 
I just want to add that I think it'll be a magnificent day tomorrow along the banks of the Boyne. Roll on November Rain, Paradise City, Knocking on Heavens Door, Rocket Queen etc. So many classic anthems await.
 
Just hoping, for those on here that are heading to it, that you aren't surrounded by people recording it on their phone / tablet! One of the more annoying things when attending gigs!! :rolleyes:
